By specialising exclusively in eczema, Jemma has developed deep expertise in managing the condition efficiently and effectively. With the right treatment plan and education, many children experience significant improvement within 1–2 weeks, often after a single consultation followed by a short follow-up.
This focused model allows families to receive clear direction early, helping reduce ongoing stress and uncertainty.
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse with extensive postgraduate training and clinical experience. Nurse Practitioners are qualified to assess, diagnose and manage health conditions using evidence-based care.
As a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, Jemma is able to provide comprehensive eczema care that combines medical expertise with education and ongoing support. This means families receive clear treatment plans, practical guidance and the time needed to understand how to manage eczema confidently at home.
Parents often appreciate working with a Nurse Practitioner because appointments allow for:
More time for education and questions
Clear explanations of treatment plans
Practical, realistic guidance for everyday care
Follow-up support to ensure treatment is working
This model of care supports both effective treatment and parent confidence.
